Two sculptures, two councils and difficult times

At the moment, the British councils of Northampton and Tower Hamlets are preparing to sell works of art to raise funds. These funds will go to various departments, possibly including education and the arts. Both works are sculptures: an ancient Egyptian statue and a large-scale Henry Moore respectively. What do you think should happen?
